Jan Meeks

Janet M. Meeks is co-founder of Summit Real Estate Services. Ms. Meeks has been in the commercial real estate field since 1981. She began her career in real estate with General Growth Companies as a full charge bookkeeper responsible for all accounting functions related to the operation of a 1,000,000 square foot retail development. In 1987 she joined Regency Property Management, Inc. as an Accounting Clerk with full accounting responsibilities for shopping centers comprising approximately 750,000 square feet. In 1989 Ms. Meeks was promoted to Financial Analyst. Again in 1992, she was promoted, this time to Supervisor of Personnel and Administration. Prior to the inception of Summit, she was promoted to Supervisor of Property Management with full managerial responsibilities for twenty commercial properties comprising over two million square feet in a four state area. Ms. Meeks is a successful licensed real estate broker in Indiana and Kentucky. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers; The Evansville Rotary Club; and Tri Kappa, a statewide philanthropic organization. She serves on the Board of Vanderburgh County CASA and is Vice-President of the Vanderburgh County Redevelopment Commission, where she has been a member since 2011.

Scott Hyatt, CCIM, CSM

Prior to joining Summit Real Estate Services in 2003, Scott Hyatt was the Director of Property Management for Regency Property Services, where he was responsible for the direction of the company’s property management department as well as redevelopment of commercial properties, marketing, managing and leasing on a local and regional level for the various shopping centers and offices managed by Regency. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Hyatt has been affiliated with Trammell Crow Company in Philadelphia, Jones, Lang, LaSalle in New York and David Hocker Associates in Kentucky. Mr. Hyatt is a 1989 graduate of the University of Southern Indiana. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance, is a Certified Shopping Center Manager as designated by the International Council of Shopping Centers and is a licensed real estate broker with the Indiana and Kentucky Real Estate Commissions. Mr. Hyatt is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, The Evansville Rotary Club and a member of the CCIM Institute with a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.

Tyler Raben

Tyler Raben, a lifelong resident of Evansville, Indiana, graduated from the University of Southern Indiana, where he achieved a B.A. in Business Management and was involved in the Entrepreneurship Program. While attending college, Tyler worked as a manager for Azzip Pizza, where his responsibilities included customer satisfaction, business operations, inventory and cash management. Tyler says that he enjoyed this position as a gateway to a future in sales and management, as well as an opportunity to put what he was learning in college to practical use at an innovative organization. When not golfing himself, Tyler is involved in the local golf community as a caddy at Victoria National Golf Club and a former associate at Helfrich Golf Course. He serves as a volunteer for local and national golfing events – including the Master’s Tournament in Augusta, Georgia. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Southwest Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Helfrich Men’s Club.

Richard Clements

Richard Clements brings over 20 years’ experience in banking and finance, most recently serving as VP of Commercial Lending at Evansville State Bank where he focused his efforts in the commercial and industrial space. In addition, he has an extensive background in mergers and acquisitions, having been involved with both foreign and domestic acquisition deals. Over the years, Richard also has been affiliated with Fifth Third Bank, American General Financial Services and Ohio Valley Financial Group. Richard is a 1994 graduate of Indiana University, earning a Bachelor of Science from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. He went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana in 2004. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Indiana.

Misti Alvarez Cohen, CPM, CAM

Misti Alvarez Cohen relocated to Evansville and joined Summit in 2021, bringing with her over 15 years’ experience overseeing all aspects of client relations and property operations. Formerly affiliated with Healthcare Trust of America, Buckingham Companies & Hokanson Companies in Indianapolis, Ms. Cohen brings to Summit well founded experience in team leadership and business development as well as diverse commercial asset management. Ms. Cohen is a graduate of Purdue University, earning a Bachelor of Arts, and is a Certified Property Manager as designated by the Institute of Real Estate Management as well as a Certified Apartment Manager. She is an active member of BOMA and IREM and serves on committees for both. Ms. Cohen serves on the Executive Committee and as an Officer At-Large on the Board of Directors for the Craine House, a justice-involved organization serving women and children throughout Indiana.

Seth Nunnelly

Seth Nunnelly was born and raised in Henderson, Kentucky, but moved to Newburgh, Indiana in 2022. Seth brings to Summit Real Estate Services a background in management and sales, with high levels of customer service. As Commercial Property Manager for Summit, Seth is the primary conduit between Tenant and Landlord, responsible for ongoing maintenance, management, strategic planning and budgeting for shopping center and office properties managed by Summit. Seth is an avid supporter of small businesses, especially those local to his community. In Seth’s free time, he plays men’s league hockey at Evansville’s Swonder Ice Arena.

Nikki Myers

Commercial Property Manager

Nikki Myers is a native of West Salem, Illinois and serves as Commercial Property Manager for Summit, bringing with her an extensive background in project management, process development and risk assessment. Nikki served four (4) years in the United States Air Force as an F-16 Crew Chief managing multiple multimillion dollar fighter jets and earning an Associate of Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Air University. Nikki then worked for JP Morgan Chase in Electronic Money Movement protecting private client, commercial business and small business accounts from fraudulent activity. In addition to having responsibility for ongoing maintenance and supervision of Summit-managed properties, Nikki serves as the primary conduit between our Tenants and Landlords. She is dedicated to the service of our clients and our philosophy that we will treat all of our managed properties as if they were our own.

Darlene Prather

Darlene Prather, a lifelong resident of Henderson, Kentucky, serves as Staff Accountant at Summit and brings 15+ years of experience working in the real estate market, most recently as a closer with a local title company. Prior to working in real estate, Darlene’s background was in manufacturing accounting, relating to the operation, customer satisfaction, business operations, inventory and cash management with companies including Peabody Coal, Accuride Corporation & Toyota Motor Manufacturing. Darlene is a member of the National Notary Association (NNA).

Robin Happe

Robin Happe joined Summit Real Estate Services in 2014, bringing with her many years of professional experience and a background in commercial real estate, formerly working as a commercial real estate appraiser with Bartlett & Associates. Robin serves as Executive Assistant at Summit, providing valuable support to each department and overseeing day to day operations. Robin graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, with specialization in public relations and graphics.
